This week in the Abacos learn how to sail with new friends by reserving a catamaran on one of our amazing boats for a full week of fun.
Abaco Music Festival
Feb 8-11th 2024 - Abaco Music Festival
The Hope Town Music and Rum Festival is meant to celebrate the resolute heart of Hope Town and its people, who have emerged from hardship ready to renew the hospitality and warm welcomes that the island is famous for. The festival features a roster of musicians and rum tastings at the concerts. Each night of the festival is hosted at a different location so you’ll get to see a lot of Hope Town and experience this fun event.
May 5-9th 2024 (approx) Catamaran Guru Regatta
Charter a boat or reserve a cabin. This event is so much fun! Everyday is a different funny challenge from a dinghy parade to an umbrella race contest. June 2024 - Regattas in The Abacos
Originating at Green Turtle Cay, the tradition started amongst a few friends and grew to an annual "Around the Turtle" race for locals and visiting yachtsmen. The friendly folks on the cay would then host a big party on the beach overlooking the Sea of Abaco for everyone to enjoy. Wind powered workboats, such as the Bahamian Sloop and Abaco Dinghy, have long been essential to survival within the islands, and sailing a skill passed down throughout the generations. Sail around and watch as this tradition continues with a race everyday at a different location. Click the link to see what it’s all about.
Cheeseburger in Paradise
July 3-5th 2024 (approx)- Cheeseburger in Paradise
This event is 1 day, usually the first Tuesday of July and it is EPIC! Free food and free drinks and a full day of music and group themed parties make this event one of Abacos most favorite day of the year! This party doesn’t disappoint and if you’ve ever been, you’ll want to go back.
